Congratulations to the Mock Trial Team for winning both matches at the District Competition on Saturday, February 15th at the Washington County Courthouse! Burgettstown and Fort Cherry students teamed up again this year!
The team's Plaintiff competed against Trinity's Defense on Saturday morning and won their first match. The jury voted unanimously in the Plaintiff's favor! Sam Berdine was voted Best Advocate.
The team's Defense competed against Ringgold's Plaintiff on Saturday afternoon and won their second match. The jury voted in favor of the Defense. David Scruppi was voted Best Advocate.
The team won both matches and placed 1st in the District. They will be moving on to the Regionals on Saturday, March 7th!
