Mission Statement:  The Burgettstown Area Scholarship Foundation shall:

• Establish and maintain a fund to provide annual scholarships to graduating seniors of the Burgettstown Area School District who have, throughout their high school careers, participated in activities that promoted school pride, encouraged school spirit, and served as examples of character, sportsmanship and scholarship to underclass students.
• Strengthen and establish community and alumni participation in school programs, to enhance the educational opportunities for students, and to provide additional funds in order to assure educational excellence in the Burgettstown Area School District. And
• Develop, promote and finance educationally-based programs, activities and projects for the Burgettstown Area School District

LIST OF SCHOLARSHIPS

Burgettstown Area Scholarship Foundation The BASF was established in 2003 to benefit Burgettstown High School senior students. Beginning in 2015, the Foundation will award $9,000 annually to the following scholarship recipients chosen by committees of school personnel and Foundation members.
