Information on childcare

Families may be struggling with childcare if the school schedule is not conducive to their work schedule.  And some providers that may still remain closed due to the pandemic.  The Governor’s office has created a data portal (Link to the PA.Gov site) that provides families with information relative to the status of local childcare providers.  On this site, one can search by city, zip code, county, etc.  The department is working with these childcare providers to assist districts who may be either in a hybrid or 100% virtual mode to ease age limitations so families may have the ability send additional children to these facilities.
