What is 4-H?
4-H is a youth program (for ages 8-18) sponsored by Cooperative Extension of Penn State University. You will grow in knowledge, skills, citizenship and leadership.
At the local level:
You choose up
to3 projects you will work on at club meetings and finish at home. We meet during activity periods and after school at the high school.
Projects to choose from include:

- Eligibility for Cash $$ awards for entering project at county fair
- Eligibility for county scholarships for completing projects for 2 years and turning in books
At the county level:
Christmas Carol singing, family dinner, day camp, horse seminars, county fair, public speaking competition, modeling, Ag days at the mall, and many more
At the state and regional level:
State Day competitions, ambassador training, horse competition, over night camp and others
Cost: project supplies and transportation- $30 registration must be in to attend meetings
When: Activity period meetings –must attend 3 from January
toJune to consider a project completed
