    Substitutes Needed
    The Burgettstown Area School District values its substitutes and gives them every consideration when a permanent position becomes available.
     
    Teacher 
    If you have a Bachelor's degree or higher, you can work as a day-to-day substitute teacher in Pennsylvania schools.  We offer paid training designed to help you take advantage of this opportunity. The rate of pay is $105/day.

    NOTE: All PA Certified substitute teachers are required by PA Act 48 of 2005 to have earned 180 continuing education credits every 5 years after certification.  Teachers without the required hours are only permitted to work 90 days as a substitute teacher.

    Bus Driver
    Substitute bus drivers are needed to transport students to and from school. Drivers with a CDL with S endorsement are desired. Must have clean driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older.

    Substitute bus drivers must have or be willing to secure a CDL license and bus certification.

    Custodian
    Burgettstown Area School District is looking to hire substitute custodians. Individuals must have a strong work ethic and be able to work well in an educational environment.

    General Cafeteria Worker
