    Course Description: Welcome to 6th Grade Mathematics! This course is designed to build on the foundational math concepts introduced in previous grades and to prepare students for more advanced mathematical skills. Topics covered will include numerical operations, fractions, decimals, geometry, algebraic expressions, and problem-solving.

    Grading Policy:

    • Homework: 20%
    • Classwork/Participation: 15%
    • Quizzes: 25%
    • Tests: 30%
    • Projects: 10%

    Assessment and Evaluation:

    • Regular quizzes and tests will assess understanding and retention of concepts.
    • Homework assignments will reinforce classroom learning and provide additional practice.
    • Class participation reflects engagement, collaboration, and effort.
    • Projects will allow students to apply learned concepts in real-world scenarios.
