You can add students by two different ways:
1. Once you are in your Google Classroom, click on 'students' and then on 'invite'
you can search for a student by name in the search box
click on 'invite students'
STUDENTS MUST ACCEPT THE INVITATION BEFORE THEY ARE ADDED TO THE CLASS.
2. You can also add them via a class code:
Once you are in your Google Classroom, the class code is on the left of the stream.
Share this code with your students via email or by simply displaying it in your classroom for them
Students navigate to classroom.google.com and then click the '+' sign to see where they can enter the code
After they enter the code, they should click 'join'
** You can reset or disable the code through the drop-down menu .
Select your class
Enter your text
You can also attach a file from your computer, Google Drive, YouTube, or URL by clicking the appropriate icon.
Click 'post' when you are done.
**Anyone in the class can comment and although you can delete any inappropriate comments by clicking the menu icon (three vertical dots), comments do not enter a queue for your approval. They are live automatically.
