Purpose Games is a website where you can create a free account and then create your own online game. The site does eliminate any inappropriate content, and intends to keep the site open access while still making it educationally sound and appropriate. Right now you can choose from a map based or multiple choice type format for your game. When you are finished, you can decide if you want your game to be private or public. If it is private, only individuals to whom you provide the URL can access and play your game.

WordSteps
Word Steps is a tool that could be used to assist student and support their efforts at learning the vocabulary of a new language. The tool uses word lists that it refers to as dictionaries. You can use those already provided or make your own (you need to make an account in order to create your own). Languages supports are English, French, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, German, Japanese, Italian, and Portuguese. Once you choose a word list, you can view the exercises which are Flash Cards, Translation Variants, Word Variants, Alphabet Soup, Translation by Word, and Word by Translation. -

Voxy is a website designed to assist ELLs by using pop culture and other current materials to help build language skills. The site can be used in English or Spanish, so it can also be used to develop Spanish language skills.You need to create a free account to use all the features, but you can still use the site if you don't create one. You click on and add words to a word bank that shows translations and offers you quizzes for practice.
