Samantha Kraeer was honored this morning (5/26) as one of several Rotary Club scholarship winners from Washington County high schools. The students, parents, and guests attended a luncheon today at Washington & Jefferson College sponsored by the Rotary Club of Washington, PA.

Burgettstown’s PJAS students have had another successful year!
Ricky Delprato, Erin Smith, Desiree Bouch, and Emma Gragan all traveled to Penn State University to present their projects before a panel of judges. Erin Smith received a first place award for her project- "Air Resistance: Parachute Materials". Ricky Delprato and Desiree Bouch each received a second place award for their projects, "Effectual Electrolytes" and "Action Reaction Car". Emma Gragan received a third place award for her project, "The Science Behind Ice-Cream Making". 
Thank you so much for you support of this academic club. P.J.A.S. allows students to be academically challenged on multiple levels that transcend their grade level. The P.J.A.S. participants, Mrs. Ward and Mr. Tropeck thank you for allowing them to positively represent the Burgettstown Area School District at the P.J.A.S competitions.
